END GRAIN FRENCH OAK
END GRAIN is an ancient tradition of cutting wood across the growth rings. This method has been used for its many benefits such as strength and acoustic qualities and its best outcome; a cross-grain which is highly-aesthetic with impressive character, colour and durability.
When this process is applied to the beauty of French Oak, with the special parquetry design by Raphael Navot the end product is an exquisitely and exclusively outstanding parquetry design, one that will not go unnoticed.
The Forêt Collection is a revolutionary handmade flooring and wall covering marquetry.
Forêt stands for an innovative approach to end grain wood surfaces. Inspired by wood cobblestones in Paris during the 19th century, we have spent many years to revive the wondrous tradition and to give it a new contemporary life. Pre-assembled endgrain oak pieces on simple planks.
